Year of Yoga Studies - 2025

This year long program is designed for yoga students who are interested in learning more about the systems and philosophies of yoga and how they can lead to a deeper understanding of self and the outer world. The curriculum for this program is designed to take one year to complete. Continuing education units may be available for current registered yoga teachers.

During the year, we will study the chakra system, the Yamas and Niyamas or tenets of classical yoga, elemental yoga and Ayurveda and practical applications, the subtle bodies including the koshas and prana vayus and more.

This program has limited space and is open to those who meet the following criteria:

Students who have a strong desire to learn more about the yogic systems and philosophies and are interested in applying the principles to make lasting changes in their lives.

AND

Students who have attended at least one year of yoga classes OR have taken at least one workshop with Robyn

OR

Special invitation from Robyn

Program Details

Each session will cover a different aspect of study.

Sessions are stand-alone, but students are encouraged to attend all year long.

Each session will include: group Zoom meetings, one-on-one meetings with Robyn (via Zoom or in-person), optional reading and writing assignments, practices and mantra, handouts and more.

We will have a slightly shorter, 9-week session for summer. Together we will learn about Ayurveda - the Science of Life, and learn about our unique constitutions. Then we will learn about healthy habits, and cater them to our own selves. Each week will include a zoom gathering, suggested practices, readings and mantra.

Subtle Body Anatomy:

We will explore the subtle (energetic) bodies including the 5 koshas and the 5 prana vayus. Each week will have a focus on one specific aspect and will include a weekly zoom meeting as well as suggested practices, readings and mantra.

In this special session, we will connect all the information from this past year of study.  We will focus on how to integrate our knowledge of yogic systems into all aspects of our life.

We will only meet as a group for this session. Individual sessions available by request for additional cost.

We will discover the first two limbs of Classical Yoga: The Yamas and Niyamas. These are considered to be the foundations of the yoga practice: the tenets and observances.  Each week will have a focus on one specific theme and will include practices, readings and mantra.
